Data Deletion

We keep your data until you ask us to delete it. This page sets out how to ask, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
Email legal@causr.ai with Data Deletion Request in the subject line, and tell us:
- the organisation the request concerns
- the Meta ad account IDs or Pages, if it relates to advertising data
- whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific dataset
We confirm your identity and your authority over the data before acting.
What gets deleted
- All performance and structural data retrieved from your ad accounts
- All creative assets — images and videos — retrieved from your ads
- All work and outputs derived from that data
- Any stored access tokens or credentials for your accounts
- Your contact records
Two exceptions: aggregated and anonymised material in which you cannot reasonably be identified, and records Indian tax and accounting law requires us to keep.
How long it takes
We complete deletion within 90 days of confirming the request, across live systems and encrypted backups.
Removing data access permissions
In Meta Business Settings, remove CAUSR from Users → System Users, or from Partners if you granted access by partner sharing. We can retrieve no further data from that point. Data already retrieved is removed by the process above.
